I am looking forward to some good snow storms. Just me and the snowblower in the driveway followed by a hot tea sitting by the wood stove.

That sounds good. I'm good with that Dave! AFTER about three more months has gone by.

I am also going to set up my wood stove again, somewhere, so I can SEE the fire through the glass door. I lost that when I went to my gasification boiler and that is a big loss. So I need to figure out where it is going. I believe it will be at the camp. I have someone coming to look at my pellet stove down there this Sunday. If I sell that and the pellets that will give me enough money to buy the needed chimney for the wood stove and give me yet another project I need to complete. :picard:

Do you plan to keep the heat on during the winter at the camp? How?

No. Going to drain the pipes and turn off the water just before hard freezing starts.

Cooler days and a slow down for the business as soon as the snow flys.
This heat and long hours has been brutal this summer.

I'm looking forward to sitting in front of the stove sipping whiskey. Also looking forward to waking up on a Saturday morning and getting a blazing fire going and knowing there's no place we need to be but home. Not in a hurry for any of it to get here though.

Closing the pool up, not that I am ready for the cold but by this time of year I'm ready to be done keeping an eye on it. Then heading out for a little road trip up into Michigan a ways and then down into Northern Indiana. Get to spend some time with my best friend and lovely bride....no dogs, no cats, no chores....heck maybe I'm ready for the same thing as Sav.... :dennis:

For me I look forward to comfort food. Mac and cheese, soups, skillets bakes, chicken stews, fresh bread, the list goes on. It also gives me more shop time for projects when the cold weather sets in.
