Myself, it's a good snowstorm with the wood heat blazing away just a sitting in the workshop visiting with FHC members in the upcoming months. And music on the youtube channel...

Cleaning guns by the fire. Either in my loft or the dining room.

Ok, seriously though.......getting up in the morning and sitting in the rocker in front of the stove with a cup of coffee while the fire gets going again.
I love that time of the day. Aside from the dogs, I'm the only one up, and it's very peaceful.

Bed.... worked the regular nine hours at my desk, then 4 hours on the production floor, building a much needed shipping crate for shipment tomorrow. 13 hours in the factory is enough!!!

Yikes- that is tiring- especially drywalling a bunch of crooked walls! No fun, but the finished results will be rewarding:)

I'm looking forward to a change of season. The calendar says September but the Thermometer says July. I hope we have a long dry fall before the snow flies

Definitely, especially with double the r value! We firred out the walls but you can only get it so much better with everything being so out of wack, got another room after this one just like it, learned a lot I can do differently, should be a breeze!

    Cooler temps!
    and fall colors
although, as dry as it has been, I don't think the falls colors are going to be as bright as usual

It's been too dry here with no rain. Though it's muggy as all heck.

I know your pain. My house was originally built in the 1860's, and the exterior wall joists are 3"X3" except that they vary joist to joist. Some are as wide as 4".
