Wife decided to go for a walk with one of the kids. I then needed to watch the other two. No more trimming in the woods. Oh well. The resting is needed anywho. Can't wait for the weekend. I can get some more saw time in then!

Take some time, step away from the hassle and do something to relax and try to put it all back in prospective. Don't see anything on that list that outweighs your health and well being. Best of luck to you.

The last time I was on this thread I was on pg. 791, yup it's been that long. I feel so out of touch with the current events of everyone on here, kinda sucks... Anyways, aside from my Dad moving in shortly I looked at a huge pile of elm that has been sitting in my driveway since late June. I've been picking at it once or twice a week since then. I've already stacked 1.5 cords for the 18/19 stash. I have a couple big 35" rounds left to split then I'll be done with splitting. After thats all stacked I think I'll be in good shape for now, just have to stack this years wood onto the back porch. It's tough when new priorities take away from the things you enjoy doing.

pg.791? That was like ...... a long friggin time ago!  Not much has changed. The list of things to do around the house/property has grown for each of us. I am jealous of Stinny and rottiman and the other retired guys here because they have more time to play with there chainsaws/tractors/tools/equipment than I do. :( Glad your back.

Finally got a fire going in the firepit tonight. Stars were mighty perty. My honey even came out and sat for while. Nice clear night...

Nice fire Stinny! Then ancient drug "fix". The best there ever was, is, and shall ever be!

I had me a couple outdoor fires over the last few weeks. The best time of the year is coming. The next four months are great!:dancer::rootintootin:

Well my apple peeler broke tonight. I got the micrometer and measured the piece in question...milled out a replacement piece from some tool steel on my CNC machine and fixed it to aircraft standards.

OK...so really I just eyeballed it...grabbed some scrap from under the workbench and cut it with the hacksaw. The first part is how it played out in my mind though.

It was a hot September 1st yesterday. 90° , and I took the bike to work. I'll take the bike tomorrow to if I can get some sleep. It's supposed to be 90 again . Thursday, is rain, and fantasy football draft at work, so car day. But Friday, probably taking a half day, and its supposed to be only 80, so bike again.

The Michelin's are getting shagged. Time for new tires this fall.
