So one of my trees that was told I could have , had all the easy wood cut by some cherry picker. I went to get the rest yesterday. Didnt pay attention to the diameter bit would say around 40-48" maybe?

I sharpened the 32" chain and bolted the 32" bar to it that I got from DexterDay (thanks man!!) And rode the 1 mile across town. I cut it into 5 rounds. One of which is like 10"s thick as thats just how it played out.
Its a red oak for those who want to know.
I only hit and cut through just a few nails!!! :-(

I used about a gallon of gas here.

Went and ate lunch and swapped to the 25" bar to noodle more.

This pic shows one and a half rounds split. IMG_20150829_172942_319.jpg

4 rounds filled the truck. One left as seen in background to get later. IMG_20150829_190316_540.jpg

Burned three cords last year. Some was pine an elm. I heat about 2000-2500sqft and have no insulation other than r19 in attic.

    J/k clemsonfor
I use pink Carvel cups all the time for drinks- my wife worked there well before I met her.... Those cups work just fine and allow me to tap into a softer side of myself:faint:
