    Thanks! We forgot the good camera :rolleyes: and used our old phones, so the pics were a little grainy- but they are forever imprinted on our brains..........

    The majority were the northern facing presidential mountains. Some were from the sugarloaves others of hancock near the pemigewesset wilderness. Humidity was low, but we had some rain move in on the mountain which is a sight to see from above or equal to the cloud height. Watching the rain move towards us........

    I love the White Mountains. NH is such a great place. Did you make it up Mt. Washington? Your picture series with the pup look like the natural water slide off the Kangamangus Highway. Oh how I miss the Mt Washington Valley area.

    We have not hiked up Mt. Washington yet. We have been focusing on the southern presidentials for the last few years. We only have around 15 under our belts (my son started 4000 footers when he was 7.)

    Looks like a great time!

    I've never really had a fear of anything (except spiders) but years ago I was driving up the auto road for the first time, and I shook like a leaf uncontrollably up and down. Not so bad the second time I went up a year later.

    I would certainly be interested in an atv ride up.

    They have a foot race to the top every year. The interesting thing is the fastest bicycle ascent is only a couple of minutes faster than the running record.

    High elevations for the northeast, mostly granite.
    Lol, uuuggghhh. I can't imagine that.

    Hiking up it at my own pace good. Running or jogging would result in some lucky hoarders who will get my stash in my will.
