    I made crabapple and grape jelly today. I picked 3 lbs of apples at my brothers house. What a pain to cut off the ends of all those little apples.

    I picked 4 lbs of grapes right at home. I chose the nice really red ripe ones. The ones that are really ripe had quite a sweeter concentration of flavor. I had to swat the mad yellow jackets away from the nice clusters. I should be able to get one more weekend to pick both apples and grapes.

    Next up is steak tips with sautéed mushrooms and onions in a cast iron pan. We'll eat out back on the screen porch.
