Finishing up stacking another 4 cord in the shed for this years burn. 8 cord ready for whatever type of winter mummy nature wants to throw @ us.................................. . Soon as I finish my sammich and muffin I'll have @ the last 3/4 cord left. Supposed to rain this afternoon and the Blue Jays are going to kick Detroit's arse, so we'll watch that...........................

Well, they did yesterday, so you may be right. Tigers have been hitting fairly well, but they're giving up too many runs too often. Recipe to lose.
We've had rain all last night and most of the morning. Firewood's too wet to move for another couple days or so. This has been going on way too long, so I'm actually looking forward to some warm/hot weather.
Gotta' git 'er dun soon, or we'll freeze to death.:hair:

Why'd the Tigers even show up?

Yeah, it's a little silly to keep going with this one. Put it in the record books. Now.:picard:

Oh boy! While I was at work, putting in a little O.T., my Mom invited us up for spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. My wife wasn't argueing with her this morning. That meant she doesn't have to make anything. So now that I'm done working I have a chore to do. Do I decide to have 2 or 3 cold beers before dinner? Ugh. The chores never end.

    Very strange.
Highlighted portion is what shows in your post, but when I hit reply, the whole thing shows up.
    Jeesh, now I can't make a smart-azz comment.
ETA: just refeshed the page and now the whole thing is there...........no, I haven't been drinking.

I did get some wood split this morning before I went into work. My son came out and helped me and we were able to finish up splitting and stacking about 1 cord of wood. Some good progress on the stacks. I think I have about 13 cord ready to go. I also have a good amount of Ash tops down in the woods as well. It is time to go retrieve them. I have these two dogs that are called retrievers. Why don't they retrieve wood for us hoarders? We are going to have to develop a larger, stronger dog breed that can go out and retrieve the rounds and bring them back home for us. What da think? Wood Hoarder Retrievers?

There are some big ones out there already. But you may need a small skid steer to clean up the yard. No, she doesn't come with the dog you guys.:picard:
