    You guys are KILLING me. I have no "junk" for an early burn so now I should be looking for a ton for shoulder work.....GGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... a pellet pig is NEVAH done.

    Snag a small number of those Genevas in the new bags at TSC. I grabbed 3 bags the other day to test this winter (never burned them before). We can compare notes, and well if they suck, we can commiserate HA HA.

    Driving down 295 and could not believe that the leaves are showing color already. Been very dry with no rain since beginning of August and I have friends who have apple trees that are dropping already. My pear tree dumped all its leaves and only the small but plentiful fruit is showing. Coming early this year.... early.

    My ferns have been black for at least a week - even though last week was nice and warm. Daylight is getting too short to support them apparently.

    I got around to cleaning the pellet piggy today. Took the stove outside and used a leaf vac on it. It is now ready to go. I am hoping to not need it for 3 more weeks
