I'm with you. At anywhere close to 75% of new it better be like new. I was looking around a bit at used 372's. $500 for a beat up saw that I can get new to my door for $800? No thanks. I'll buy a new one.
NO WAY! I didn't pay that for mine new a year ago..... I'm sure you could find a new ms660....... Or offer them $800.
I've sold a rear-handle ms200 for more than it cost new, and I could do it again with the ms200 I still have. Being out of production and in limited supply decouples these things from their original prices.

here is a god deal (i think) on a 661c, yea I hijacked your thread, i know its not a 660 https://portland.craigslist.org/nco/grd/5192556688.html Stihl 661 - $750 (Tillamook) I am selling my fairly new stihl 661 don't need it anymore there is nothing wrong with it at all runs perfect asking $750
My dealer sells 100 saws a year or close and has sold 2 since they came out. Sold 9 660s in the same time.
Yea thats bad numbers if they have only sold 10! Even one back for any type repair in this short of time seems bad to me. Just one is 10%!!!
