To all the burners who may go back to Oil this year just remember, there's no fun in comparing heating Oil like the fun we have comparing wood pellets. No praising, bashing, cussing, recommending etc.. just plain ole #2 Fuel Oil with Absolutely No personality laying in a Big tank that you cannot see or play with the burner flame.. Yes.. u will miss the Bonding with your stove.
thanks but could u tell me how my post got the lines in the 1st place and how u removed them or are you Sworn to Moderator secrecy?
Something happen with the coding where the text got slashed out. Can be done with the code If you add [ s and the ] you'll get slashed out text slashed No secrets really just BB coding. Just like ; and then a ) makes a wink(no spaces)
I will never go back to oil totally. But I may burn some when I'm not home. Stove will be burning when we are here. Gotta see the fire! doggy
One of the other dealers I know was busy, But finally replied!! He seemed optimistic that his sales will be good. He may loose some to oil, But hopefully gain some from the box store's. Of all the dealers I spoke to, This gentleman always seems to provide the most honest answers.
Friend lives in Harington and goes to Southington HD for pellets. He said they were stacked to the rafters. They had Green Supreme's and FSU's. But didn't buy any at the going rate of $264/ton I told him to take pic's next time, But he guessed they had over 300 tons sitting in the lot.
I should have posted all of one dealers reply. It was like reading a novel and there was even reference of Chevy's and Mercedes's in it. Took 2 beers to finish and I know I fell a sleep at least once!!
I didn't have the heart to tell him that you can buy Mercedes's now for about the same $$ as a Chevy!! Bear Mountains might be more like Ferrari's
