The guy with the car just makes me cringe, sometimes I get nervous under a vehicle with 6 ton jack stands holding it up.
i have done the first pic when i was younger, trailer then saw horses with a plank, then an extension ladder on that. Had to reach the top of the chimney.

That reminds me of stuff my brother would do. He's a field tech for a company that installs and maintain signs, he says he prefers to wire them up hot, and get's shocked often because of that. He's been knocked off a ladder a couple times when he got hit by 480 volts! I'm hoping he wises up when he gets into his 30's.
