I tried bug bombs back when we had the cockroach infestation that hitchhiked in on the new appliances - I think it made them run for other parts of the house.

We bought a mobile home in a trailer park in 1990. There were nomadic mice that went from trailer to trailer. We (and all the neighbors) trapped what we could, but just when we all had not seen one in a few months, another would show up. Luckily there are not cockroaches in Co and Wy.

Making some progress on the laundry room remodel, mud was having a hard time drying so I put the halogen lamp in front of the shop fan and was able to sand and recoat, still have some holidays in the mud.
Went to get another gallon of paint and the machine was broke at wallyworld - went to Home depot and waited for 5-10mins for someone to mix the paint and started yelling
HELLO DOES ANYONE WORK HERE? the girl down at customer service finally acknowledged me and called on the loud speaker - I waited another 10-12mins before a woman took her sweet time shuffling down the isle to mix my paint:headbang: I usually only shop at Lowes for a reason but they don't have Glidden paints - and after the Valspar that turns white everytime it gets wet in the GF's bath I'm done with their paint

I thought German cockroaches could live anywhere?
they can ride in furniture, appliances, boxes etc - maybe you're too remote i.e BFE for them to travel that far:D

I don't know............. I saw a 60 minutes show years ago that a gal found bedbugs in an alarm clock she bought at a garage sale. No doubt they are nomadic like the mice and cockroaches too! And I heard a few diners in my previous town has cockroaches, though I have never seen one in person. AND we had carpet beetles from a catnip toy we bought for Christmas for our cat. :heidi:

Nah it's a satin finish, if you get a drop of water on the wall it turns whitish color and then reverts back to normal with no stains but you can rub something out of the paint. I have used Valspar in 4 other rooms and never had that issue, probably had a bad/incorrect base gallon for the color.

Glidden is independently tested and ranked better than $50/gal paints for $20-25/gal - these are interior rooms. Exterior I'd go with Benjamin Moore as I have a buddy that works at the factory and can get me top line 100% Acrylic for cost + beer. Sprayed the Hardieboard siding 6years ago and no issues at all with temps as low as 0F and higher than 110 with humidity out the nose
