Got the dump run in, it is now raining so the boss said I have the rest of the day off so I'm working on the multimedia side of the system today. It is where most of the 3rd party software is. Too damm many media formats and stupid encryption/scrambling/not really protecting protection crap is.

Hot peppers in anything seems to be the trend lately. Seems that once the marketing machine latches on something, they take it too far sometimes.

I like hot, but not in everything

Well. today was clean the stove day. Wasn't going to get too involved with it since I'm looking to replace it but decided otherwise and did what I normally do for a full teardown. For some reason it seem to take way longer that I thought it would. It's hot out but I was keeping hydrated....compliments of Will :D

Steve, what you thinking of replacing it with? Do you have your eye on anything particular?

Nice one Will, hope they burn great for you! You have quite the variety in that stash. I see LaCretes, North Country, PTLs, Energex, Timber Heats - anything missing from this list?

I'm still eyeing up a couple Quad Classic 1200. One is just less than an hour away...5 years old....somewhat out of my price range....one went up for sale last night, year old and must have sold today cuz the posting was pulled.....Still waiting to hear from the one I went to look at last week, it's still for sale but I gotta get it for the right price cuz I think I'm going to have to stick a few bucks in it.

Well went to print something for the boss and printer no prints text, make sure the ink cartridge has clean air holes and ran the print head cleaning routine followed by a nozzle check, a bit better but no cigar, so I repeated, better still but no cigar, repeat, even better but still not there so yep repeat, oops now getting low on ink in two of the carts (color unit this be) but things are even better, go again and the printer says get lost and refuses, so the bear is a bit mad at this point, so he goes on line and orders a laser printer, it will be here Wednesday (I hope). Can't win no matter what you do.

Nice !! What kind di you get? Laser printers are the way to go now as they are much cheaper than they use to be. I use them so infrequently that the ink was always dried out and wouldn't work. Bear isnt the only one to get mad at those damm things :hair:

Since I dont print much color, I picked up a Samsung BW laser printer 4 years ago for about 70 bucks on Black Friday from Newegg. I am still on the cartridge it came with and guess what? It works when I want it to.

It is a cheap Brother/WiFi or USB. I'll likely clean the hell out of the Ink Jet unit but it isn't my favorite job, it is easier and sometimes cheaper to just junk it and get a replacement, which I did with the previous printers. Ink Jet Printers Suck out loud.
