Finally got around to cutting the dead ash in the next door neighbor's back yard. I had the missus drive the tractor while I cut and loaded. I will try to finish the cleanup Sunday. 2015-08-22 22.08.49-1.jpg 20150822_174759-1.jpg

Love that dead, barkless ash. That's some good stuff, right there.

Sweet. Any idea of the weight of that log in the bucket? I ask because I'm curious of how much one can lift with that size tractor.

about 500 lbs. the bucket will lift 780 lbs but you need ballast on the back. They say breakout force is 1100 lbs but you cant really use it cause the back tires com e right up off the ground if its too heavy. I made a weight out of a 750lb per foot I beam cut to 6 inches then fit up the three point hitch attachment points. I picked the splitter up when it was unloaded off the truck with a long chain as a basket. box pallet and all. the splitter itself weighs 680lbs plus all the wood in the packing. It had no problem with that. It is the perfect size for where im at now. a 60in mower deck, 50in tiller, 48in brush hog.

Thanks Shanks. What model number is that tractor or what would be the comparable number for this year's model?
