WoooHoo! I hit the Earthquake lottery! ! One of the 45 ' s is Spanking New!! I mean spankin (still has yellow spacer between clutch cover and saw!)

The other, slightly used, but it has an abnormally large Dawg/Spike on it? That will be going on my 45cc.

I am now making this new 45cc my project saw and have it almost completely torn down. :)

About got the cylinder off.. :)

I think I am gonna buy some more ;)

These are actually built much better than a 210-230-250 and the 290-310-390 series. Shares a lot with a Husq.

There are MANY pro saw traits to these Chicom saws. Surprisingly, they are built well. Very well........

But on a serious note, I am gonna buy more. Guys at work want some.

I ordered mine on the 12th!!
I Your lucky you got folks lined up @100!! I'm gonna see what I can do. They do remind me of a husky too. And yea they look good and have pro saw traits and way easier than the 290/310/390 to pull down.

My 45 is brand new. We will see what the next brings tomorrow!

Dex I ordered mine I think a day before you how did yours come before mine?

A guy I work with bought a 45cc. He showed me a Craigslist ad for a MS250 he was going to look at that looked beat to chit, and way overpriced IMHO at $225. He doesn't heat with wood, just wanted a saw to cut some bonfire wood and storm cleanup around his property.

The quake is perfect for his purpose and if he blows it up he's not out much.

I've got next week off from work. I see some muffler mods in my future.

Yep, destroyed my muffler..... Could prob be fixed, but would look terrible. Need to steal a muff or buy another saw?? Hmmmmm...

Been waiting for the 41cc to come back in to stock.

MasterMech, does the 16" from the 41cc bolt up to the 45cc Powerhead? I know the 38 didn't.

No. The 45 cc uses a different bar mount than the other two power heads. I think I like my 41cc saw the best! I got it tuned, now just need to get into that muffler....

Here is a muffler that I think will for the 45. It was linked on AS y'all may of seen that post? The seller said they think there was no cat on it. And is loud and really helps saw run better. Not terrible @$19 but on a saw that costs $48 saw its kind of hard to swallow ESP not knowing.g if it will fit.
