What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Foggy here and gonna add lots of heat later... ugh. Giz and I are holding down the fort while Grammy heads to Portland for a day of g-baby love. Just one day this time instead of 10. That was a lot. Seems a lil one's energy output is directly proportional to Gram's energy reserves... go figure...

 

yes they are, stinny would you be a member of sam ( sportsmans alliance of maine )? i am thinking of joining as i was very impressed with their work last year with the bear hunt nonsense , just wondering what your opinion is , thanks.

 

While I haven't been a member (yet) I was pleased to see them push back against the anti-hunting groups last year.

 

I don't know much about it at all. But good for them!

 

I think i'll call them this morning and join, i spoke with a woman there a few months ago and she was kind enough to send me a newsletter and some information , its hard to be a member of everything you want to, when you think about it somebody wants to ban or regulate everything i enjoy, it's not easy being me, thanks stinny.

 

Came back amazingly well, thanks for asking. I am probably about 98%. Unfortunately, the arthritis factor is starting and no doubt will probably get worse with time. All in all things are really good though.

 

Well I trimmed up a good number of trees today. The heat was a little much, but not as bad as expected. The storm that mostly blew over brought in some cooler air. We had one down pour and a few times it sprinkled. Several times I had to come off the ladder and get up on the porch because of the looks of some of the clouds. No sense on getting hit with more than the falling branches I already got hit by.

 

I got about a 100' or so of hedges topped down to 6 ft yesterday. Working midnight shift this week so I had no motorvation today. Gonna try to trim the rest tomorrow and get them all chipped up Friday.

Nice work man. This heat can drain me quick. I drank some liquids while working, and a lot of liquids when the day was done.

Home finally. good trip. We had a problem with the charging system between the truck and RV but when the truck was in for servicing, they found the problem. Brought home 60 lbs of prune plums to can tomorrow. I have already made 7 jars of jam. going to be a busy day tomorrow. Four days left of holidays.

 

Made it home to see my bride + fire in the fire pit = makes me forget about the long day.

 

Took a half day, night whatever you want to call it. My oldest starts 1st grade tomorrow. Hopefully I can get to sleep when I get home and get them cut tomorrow.

 

Almost time to start the morning workout. Caffeine going down. Looks like it will be mixed weather today. The rain will probably be this afternoon, possibly heavy at times.

 

A few of the tomatoes are coming around.

 

Same up here, hope this humidity finally dies. Supposed to pound rain here later this a.m. but not a problem as my dance card is full for the day with medical appt. drives................everyone have a good and safe day.
