So what do the 'Sets compare to that I may have tried. Everyone such a big deal about them that I'm curious. Are they as good as LaCrete?

Unfortunately those two brands don't make it to this part of Maine.

Well I'm gonna start scouring the local Tsc and Lowes looking for some sets. Thinking there are a few tons of Dry Creeks in my future though.

The LaCretes aren't too far removed from the Blazers. Very nice pellets with little ash.

Where are the La Cretes ? I found LGs in standfordville I think. Gotta make a few calls this week. Ya gotta keep checking the stores because a load of sets will go in a few hours. Usually found at Lowes but my source says no this year.

Grand Theft! :) I was too lucky to grab four tons last year and this year, it is GOOD to be YOU! Can't wait a report on their performance.

I was at the Lowes in N. Smithfield and tripped over tons of Timberheats @ $259/ton...first time seeing them up here. Are they a worthy "shoulder pellet" vs. FSU???? I did see the site review...

My local lowes has a lot of TH now too. I'm not buying on account of Steves last review. Reports indicate they are not the same product they used to be.

I give the FSU's the knod. But both a worthy shoulder stuff. I'm eyeing up some FSU's at the local HD. Just don't like the price right now($269/ton).

OK, Guess I better run down and see if I can get the last ton of sets! Too freekin hot to haul em today, But If I wait they probably will be gone by the weekend. I kept telling myself it didn't matter. But really, If I'm spending the $$, I had better get the best I can get for it!!

I should have enough cold beer to offset the sweat, I hope!!
