Friend of mine picked up some root beer like this without knowing it. Their 17 year son was giggling away as he drank the first bottle...............

Not until the 27th. :(, However, it will be hooked up then at no charge to me! So until then, the cooking is done on an electric induction burner, and in a portable electric oven. Those induction cooker plates are really neat. You set the temp, and that is what you get. The burner is only hot where it contacts the pan. Cooks as well as that electric stove we had upstairs.

We have one of the induction cook tops that we use when canning, need more than the number of "burners" on the stove at times.

I have had mice ruin my car's computers three times. Did you know that damage caused by critters is covered under the comprehensive part of your insurance? I didn't know that until my dog ate three safety belts. The insurance paid for the last computer replacement. No outside cat, so mice are a real issue. Had mice get into the house last fall. My cats laid 4 of them out at the foot of my recliner.

Well I want to rearrange things on my hard drive but don't have enough free space to save everything I want too on the 250 GB external I have so I just ordered a 5TB external drive, should have it Thursday. I needed 269GB to save my data. I guess I have too much crap now and to think at one time I only had a cassette recorder for storage and a 300 bit per second modem. Ah, those were the days. Now I'm going to play a favorite childhood game, name all 3 presidents.

Had one of them get caught in the fan for the air system in the RAV4, a smelly mess that was to remove. The next door neighbors two BOTs (big orange tomcats) are cleaning up on the small critters, I see both of them carting things home to momma.

I can't imagine needing our stove this time of year. Soon maybe. Hot and humid today. Not fit to be outside in the bad air.

Well I can likely come up with a TB if I really tried. I'd have to hook up my old machine and do a bit of USB stick scrounging. Plus copy many DVDs so right now I will settle for a 5 TB drive and figure it will last me for a long time. My 250GB external has served me well over the 10 or so years I've had it.

I like a lot of space to fill up. I am well known for getting CDs on 1/2 price sticker days at Goodwill and also DVDs. The first Intel based system I had couldn't even hold some of the updates I install these days, the 120MB that thing had is chump change in the disk storage department.

This is a new experience. I went for an acupuncture treatment this evening. There is a free clinic for veterans. 5 needles stuck into each ear, then sit for about 45 mins. There were about a dozen participants and two acupuncturist. They donate their time. Was a bit odd having needles stuck into my ear. They said that the effect builds with the treatments.
Will have to wait and see.

Quick beer check-in. I saw this at the grocery store and couldn't resist. A new Sam Adams pumpkin brew? Had the harvest pumpkin in the past and liked it. I was hoping this would taste different, and not the same old beer in a slightly different bottle. Well, I can tell you it's definitely different! Don't care for this at all, it's terrible. Would not buy again and want to return what's left for a refund!
