trying to get settled in our new part of the house, No window coverings yet. I have one for the bathroom but need help getting the blind hung up. The window is in front of our shower. :bug:. Still a lot of boxes and bags to go through. Still need to have the cook stove connected. Have to go slow with what we part with. So many things with no place to put them. Most likely one of the better things to happen to us. We were getting buried alive in all our stuff. The animals seems to have settled down. The dogs don't care, but the cats are getting into everything.
Now the updating upstairs has begun. They want to move in by the end of the month. Bought paint, new tub, and all new floors except the living room which is only two years old. they have been working hard. All the old flooring has been removed. They are getting a lot of the furnishings. I'll be glad when the dust settles, the kids start school, and life is more settled.

Thanks, she has always had to settle for what was there, or left over.
She recently obtained an art degree. Has not been able to express herself with her talent. I told her to do whatever she wanted with the decorating. I'm paying for the new floors, paint etc. We are hoping that once the kids are in school, that she will be able to find some work that compliments her talents. (she earned her degree over 7 years while being home and having two children. )

What art degree and what medium does she like to work with? There are Graphic Design positions at Marketing firms, have no idea how much expression freedom they would entail.

Changed the engine and cabin air filters in the Accord yesterday. Appears there was a stow-away critter on board! Honda wanted $125 to replace these. Picked up both filters on Amazon for $28 and it took less than 10 minutes to replace them. LOL.
