    Noticed some water marks in the ceiling of a seldom used room upstairs. Really hoping it was from last years snow but getting my binoculars out and going part way up the hill in the woods behind the house to take a look tells a different story.

    2 definate problem areas and some waving on the back roof-modified cape with full dormer in the back so I cant see it like I can the front. Buddy of mine is coming by tomorrow night to take a look and see if it can be repaired, but I think I know the outcome. :headbang: 21-22 years into 25 year shingles and that part of the roof gets all the snow load and less sun......... :(

    The boss has a Vista business machine. I've been offline with my machine since Friday evening when I lost DNS. I wasn't in a hurry to get back online so I said to hell with doing the whack a mole routine. After talking to TW and using two of my favorite tools (wireshark and nmap) I found a really screwed up configuration file seems an update never ran a configuration program. No windows 10 will be used here. In fact I might get an other Linux distro and blow away the copy of Vista. The boss rarely uses the machine and told me sometime ago I could do what I wanted to with it. I like having more than one way of getting online.

    Speaking of rackets, the new dishwasher is really quiet, its a good thing there is a LED down-light that is shining on the floor while it runs.

    I did it already. Blew out my monthly alotted data allowance trying to back up pictures, but I am getting along a bit better on 10 than I did on 8.
