    This is TickTack. He's an 11 y.o. retired racing greyhound. He was a actually fairly successful racer in S. Fla. before he came to us 6 years ago. He is the most calm and regal being I have ever encountered. He's demonstrating what greyhounds do for 23.5 hours/day.

    Smokey is the big black guy in the background. He was very afraid when we first got him. In fact he was a fear biter and sent me to the ER twice and my wife once. We strongly considered euthanasia for him, but my wife convinced me to try one more time to work with him. That was 4 years ago. He is now our kindest dog and fiercest protector. And of course, Tick Tack in the foreground demonstrating his favorite behavior.

    No idea really, we got her from the humane society. Ive heard about 50 people say they were 100% sure she was (insert random dog breed). We even had wasted the $50 to have a DNA test done and the closest we got was that she could potentially have some poodle in one parent. We think its possible her and her siblings (that were dumped in a bag on the side of the road :( ) were offbreeds from a puppy mill or something. fricking hillbillies.

    That's always a big deal around here too. One pup gets the tub, but every time I have ice cream, the pups get to lick the bowl and spoon.

    My first time seeing that term used. Looks to be self explanatory. My daughter adopted a dog like that. She kept him nearly a year, but had to return him after he bit her in the face twice. I was never able to go near the dog. The facility was never able to successfully place him. They spent a fortune in health care for that dog. He got fostered out, but never manage to trust anyone.
