Pellet heads!! What's up today?

I just paid $250 for pellets delivery. Handyman went to dealer, picked up 7 tons, drove them 1/2 hour out here, and hand stacked them in my pole barn (he brought a helper). He picked up 15 empty 5 gal bottles for the water company and will drop them off for me. Fair to you guys?

I think it is a bit steep, and then feel like its a bargain in the same thought. Wow they did 7 tons in a few hours, thats 350 bags! My hardworking husband has very good intentions but the reality is between taking care of me and the lil nights and weekends, well.........It would not happen. *if* by some miracle he carved out some time and was not sleep deprived from long work hours, I fear he would end up confined to the bed and couch for a week from throwing out his back (he is in his late 40's and thrown his back out too many times before when he was younger). And, it would be 3 trips into town and back again since his truck can only handle 2 skids.

I will stop thinking outloud, just convinced myself absolutely worth every penny.

Dropped the wife and son off at the air port. They are going to visit her parents for the weekend. I feel like the kid in home alone!!

That will be Saturday, Sunday I'll be good as gold. Just don't smell my breath!!

 

I won't go anywhere near an open flame JIC! Might get messy if I try to light a cigar though!!
