Pellet heads!! What's up today?

When I got my Cruze I was looking at certified models. I ended up with a new one for about $1800 more than the certified model after the dealer promo they had going, USAA discount and the fact that they wanted to sell the last 6 speed manual that was on their lot. First time I'd bought a new car since 1998.

My only gripe is that the car is a bit sluggish when the AC is on, especially from a stop and the 1-2 shift. Once I hit third gear I don't notice it anymore. With the AC off it zips right along. It doesn't bother me though when getting 41 MPG back and forth to work and 44-46 MPG on long trips.

 

Give them hell, seems they need a few lessons.

 

You know you could wear some headgear and stop a lot of that blasting from the TV. Speaking of which I get 17 OTA channels now and have three streaming services since there is frequently nothing on the TV channels worth watching. ....eight, shunting cars and hauling freight and time tunnel, time tunnel approaching isn't on in the evening.

 

I used to run to my man cave, but now "our part" of the house "is" the man cave.
Smokey, I have a pair of the head gear ear muffs. Bright orange no less! Should drive home the point that the TV is too loud.

 

Smokey, did Lowes find your dishwasher yet? They took your cash, but can't find what you bought. They are apt to find themselves out in woods on that compost pile with Rocky and Piggy.
I ended up calling Augusta Fuel Co. to get my stove installed. They will come tomorrow after lunch. Anticipated cost is $300-400. Would have been half that if I could have waited on Feildings. Couldn't wait until the end of the month. Wife was on my back until I could give her a firm time and it had to be this week.

Monty Hall ,just made a Deal my roofer came out last week gave me a price on gutter cleaning and install gutter guards . I said lets do it , as we are walking through the garage I ask them if they know anyone looking for a wood stove as my old one is sitting there , his helper says yea I could use one as it turns out his helper is his brother so we swap my gutters are taken care of and they get a stove no cash out of pocket for me

I don't have to hassle with Craig's list or nothing

Too bad about Fieldings. I have had experience with them when I worked in Scarborough-they go a good job at reasonable rates. Unfortunately their service stops one town away from me in NH so I cant use them at home.
