Yepers, Wouldn't even think of anything less than mid 30's or round a bouts. Fusions getting 33 mpg and I jiggle a lot as I pass the gas stations.

If I were asked for words/terms that are outdated, I would choose "To do list" , "bucket list", prioritize and most important, stay on task. Yuk to all of those.

Jay does it have to be new ,or would you consider certified pre - owned ? Both our cars were certified her Rouge and my Chevy Cruze , they come with warranties so no worries ,let somebody else take the 20% hit .

That's about as new as I go. :D

My last 3 were cert's. Drove the 02 sable to 170K until it blew a head gasket. Bought it 1 year old with 12K. Bought my Fusion(2 yr old) with 25K and still purring at 82K. Gonna give it to my son as I want awd/4wd for the winta time!! The F150 is an 06 we bought in 08 with 20K. My wifey drives it as she drives the least. Except she doesn't drive it much only 60K and most are from me hauling the boat to the lakes and the really bad days I'd drive it to work.

Well, was a hot day at work today, and there was some talk amongst the guys about what beverage to have when we got home......this came up in conversation, as one one of the guys "imports" a lot of straight stuff right from N.C.. I decided to make a stop on the way home......put it in the freezer for an hour and WOW.......smooth. This version is only 70 proof, but if you like apple pie & cinnamon (has a cinnamon stick inside), get some.

As you can see, the level is already below the label. <hic> :dex:

You may not believe this, but Wally World advertises as being a seller. I checked their website, and indeed, they do.....but sold out in a large area around me. I may have to speak to the manager about that. Most regular liquor stores in my area stock it. The other versions are 100 proof, so I'm stickin to the apple pie.......but like I said, it HAS to be ice cold.

Good luck with Lowes and communication.

Teresa is on her 3rd service company to fix her dishwasher under Lowes extra warranty. They make appointments but did not show up twice-really stinks when you take time off work and they dont show or call. Third time they finally showed but said it needs alot of work and they need to "call Lowes" before they go any further with parts. Paperwork left behind mentioned "foreign item blockage". I can hear them now trying to weasel out of the warranty but the foreign part is from the damm dishwasher itself. We'll see how its handled from here.

When I travel at work I'm usually given a Focus. Not a bad little car for commuting. I wouldn't want to go on a long trip with it though. When I go on longer trips, I get upgraded to a Fusion for better comfort.

The new escape has the same chassis. But has more ground clearance with the AWD.

I took a couple of vacation days tomorrow and Friday. Heading upta camp with a couple of friends. We have tons of beer and a cooler of moose meat. Looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet in the woods.

I had a meeting today, so didn't get a whole lot done. I did manage to get my desk and desk top computer set back up. That really please me. I'm on the opposite end of the room from where the TV is. I hate having the Tv blasting in my ear. I have tried to get my wife to use headphones but she won't. :heidi: . We have the essential things running except the stove. I'll try again tomorrow to get a plumber licensed to do gas connections.
