Speaking of Penny Stocks. Viridis discloses what the average price they get for a ton of pellets. Will be interesting to see if they are indeed selling them at the same price as last year.
I need to do a better job at keeping tabs, But seems the Okies price is up some $20 from last season at my local dealers spring deal. And he's since raised it some more!! Granted he was over $330 for gold's in the heat of the season. And was selling them for $8.00 a bag with a 6 bag limit taboot!!
Yep, There was a pellet crunch so. I'm glad I wasn't in need of them. Poor fella down the road was and luckily poolguy kept an eye out for us and we made a run to Southington HD for some cheap chow!!!
We just don't MAKE anything in NE anymore and the shipments coming in have nothing going back...DEADHEAD is the phrase, me thinks. If the truck comes back empty before loading up again, who "pays" for that? It's the economy (or lack thereof) !
Steve Gordon, I always hear how efficient rail is. Is there any way they can move pellets here cheaper ?
There's talk that crude oil could be headed for $30/bbl. If that happens, sit back and enjoy the ride. Average price for HHO in Maine is $2.25/gal. with the lowest reported price of $1.75/gal in SW Maine and the highest $2.56/gal at the top of the state. If my furnace wasn't dead and I could buy oil for $1.75, the Harman would be collecting dust.
I'm on Norfolk Southern and direct line stops in PA and then multiple short lines. I'm lookiny into a Nearby CSX site that may work. Product needs to land at a destination that can distribute or cross doc and transload gets very expensive quickly.
Since i already pigged ..Crazy bruce bristol.. The fresh slice is really refreshing & shipyards are always a winner.. I dindnt try the other one, but I am going back with a service van oink oink oink
Was reading a article half hour ago how it could go to $30's, just like the big 2008 crash. I think the whole economy is going to crash real soon
If El Nino is where they're saying it's going to be we are supposed to have a warmer than normal winter. Could get very interesting this year.
