Church, a stop at the farmers market, mowed and set the other post for the deck handrail.

I trimmed the posts a little long as my bride wanted to put solar lights on the tops.

Not sure about the handrail....maybe I should do something more permanent than the clamps?? :)

Now we're getting ready to watch the Vikings and Steelers play a preseason game. I know it's not really football until the Packers play, but it's a start, and it means fall is approaching!

clamps are good but a permanent solution would be better. Looks good though.

So after taking a week off to split firewood, can tomatoes and other stuff, we got back to the painting today. Finished the living room - tomorrow the hallway. Trying to get motivated to go wash the walls in the hallway or at least take all the pictures down. Maybe tomorrow morning lol!!

Just tell everyone they are adjustable for different height people. Don't want to discriminate.

Trying to rearrange the shop. Harder than it feels like it should be. Going to ruminate on it over a bourbon.

32x32 so I have plenty of room....but it has to do a lot too.

I have two weeks left of holidays. This should be the last day of painting unless I want to get real creative and try something new. Foggy with prospects of sun later today. Been a good holiday so far.

Day three of a 10 day stretch, GF's birthday tomorrow, she has decided a kayak is more worthy of her b-day gift than upgrading random furniture pieces.
I've told her new furniture when the house is paid off - and our stuff isn't in need of replacing anyways, aesthetics to keep up with the Jones' - when we rarely have company:headbang:

Well not the last day of painting. AAAARGH! Our entertainment center came apart and I labeled all the cords and speaker wires so I would know where they went back. NOT!!! I started off with only two speakers of a five speaker system working. Now I have three but the last two will not work. Helps if everything is plugged in properly. The last two speakers have me tearing my hair out. Campinspecter said leave it for now - by the way is there a manual for the system? So I guess I will have to look for that. Got everything else working but of course the last thing I worked on - Nada!! :headbang:

Hope everyone else's day went great. Actually mine did too until I worked with the speakers.

yeah this is a discussion of moving our current end tables into the bedroom to replace the ones she gave to her daughter.
I've always wanted bedside tables with drawers, and she wants WHITE coffee and end tables in the living room - who want's to clean those everyday?
