i'll post up a link when i get home to trick the pcm and keep the light off if you gut it or pipe it.
Do all you guys live near eachother? You and AM cutting wood for the savage, Pyro invite o your shop!!
http://www.regalgs.org/topic/50859-...-flow-cat-spark-plug-fouler-trick-w-pictures/ I happen to know someone that has used this trick twice successfully. theres prolly better tutorials out there but that was the one that popped up doing a quick search.
Pete and I are about 45 minutes apart. There are at least 5 of us that close, but Pete it's the only one I've met IRL. I'm sure that will change at some point.
I might just take you up on that. Maybe I could frame some walls in your shed while you do some welding, then we can drink some of your homemade brews.
Make sure you drink the homebrews first. No fun having torches and framing nailers in your hand sober
I can make my non-world famous beer chili too..... Edit) Not to worried about the framing that was more out of curiosity at cost. I don't always word what I'm asking well.
I never said I knew what I was doing. Although my buddy has a torus we did the exhaust on last year and it wasn't to bad with two guys and a 12 pack.
Got out of work early and my buddy is back in his shop after the broken leg. Legs still broken, but you know the type, he's one of us. I already had the cat off, and the pipe made. Pulled it in, on the hoist, 5 minutes of welding, and done. Even had time to get to the dmv. After scrapping the cat, and buying some pipe I've made $55 so far. That's not accounting for the full tank of gas it came with. $22/ month to insure. This thing runs and drives every bit as good as my 07 Sierra crew cab, and has less miles. I feel like I got a decent deal. Even a blind squirrel gets a nut one and awhile.
I feel for him on the broken leg bit. I broke my left leg a few years ago. Didn't stop me from getting under the dash of my BIL's Malibu to do continuity checks on the PCM harness. It works but you had to be completely upside down with the cast/leg over the seat back.
