Spent the day changing things around with the detached garage being in a new place. Fence work. Build a ramp to front garage door. (Used material from back yard that was under garage. Sand and fine stone.) Had to move sand and fine stone from where it was under the garage to along side for an access to yard next to garage. And then use same material to build up a large area behind the garage for a basketball court for the kids. Took all day to do these things. The Kubota ran flawlessly and really took care of business. Wife and kids helped off and on all day long, moving rocks, wood piers from under garage, fixing up the landscaping around the front of the garage. They built a small rock garden and transplanted some hostas into it already. We really made some things get done today. Then it was time to clean up and have dinner with my parents. Nice time. Saw one of my brothers who stopped by after dinner too. Then came back home and cut some of the grass until it got dark. I

Here you go Rottiman. Underneath where the garage used to sit the ground was sloped with the full of sand and stone. So the piers went from 1/2" P.T. Plywood to over 1 foot of P.T. Blocking. Now it all sits on two layers of 1/2" P.T. Plywood.

Thanks W.W. It was a big job. I still have more to do. I just temporarily put the two 6 foot gates up next to the garage with a couple of strong bungee cords to keep the dogs from going on yet another hunting trip. They love to go back to camp and chase ground hogs or wood chucks, whatever you want to call them. I guess they are the same thing. LOL

Behind the garage it took a lot of loader work to build the long slope of sand/stone up to a nice fairly flat and compacted basketball court. The things we do for these kids. :faint:   But if they are doing something active and healthy and they are doing it AT HOME it is all worth it!

Say hello to camp inspector for me!

No. But it will give us a better view of that. Not the main reason. That was not having to go through the gates at fence anytime and every time you wanted in and out of garage for everything. Dump run, tractor, lawn mowers, yard tools, etc. etc. :picard:Glad that is over.

But. Eventually the whole area of woods behind our current fenced in yard will be thinned and become horse pasture/coral. But it will have a lot of trees left in it! I will not cut any of the nicer trees down. Love trees man! LOL
