    Chilly and dry here this morning. 53 degrees outside. Extended forecast says day low 80s / night high 50s for the foreseeable future. Love it!

    Took a hike up Mt Major today with Nellie, my vacation companion this week. While Teresa is working, she is at summer camp instead of being home alone all day

    Mt Major is a Beginner to Intermediate mountain that is only about 1800 ft with a 3 mile trail each way.

    I get nervous with her at the edges of the high points, so we kept our distance for today. If she dont come back, I might as well not come back :heidi:

    The leash came off for the trek back down. She loves being in the woods with us on hikes. Generally she is off leash in the woods and stays with us and is usually blazing the trail ahead while not getting too far ahead.

    Thanks, not bad pics for a 4 year old cell phone. I couldnt even see the screen with the bright sun so I wasnt sure what I was taking pics of :confused: Love digital cameras....take a crap load of pics and delete the bad ones.
