Well, we were showing friends of our neighborhoods in St. Paul a few weeks back and the bride, being a Second Grade teacher, saw many of these Little Free Libraries in neighborhoods thru out the city and decided we had to have one. Apparently, it is becoming quite the phenomenon. It works like this: Take a book, leave a book. A guy from Hudson, Wisconsin thought of this and he has a website and everything. The kids in the neighborhood a into it. And of course, the bride is grinning ear to ear. " Kids are wanting to read something over the summer!!!" So, if my luck is good the photo I took with my phone will load here. I also contemplated a FHC Little Free Library version???
What a wonderful thing to do! Wonder if you could include Adam's Responible Wood Burning article? Sorry, I cannot see the pic on my end.
We've got one of those up in town.....been there for a couple years, but I don't know how much it gets used. My wife has used it a couple times though. It's a great idea.
