My honey and I dropped in on my 97 yr old aunt living in a nice assisted living home in Farmington today. She is still sharp as a tack and gave us the tour of the place. Had us laughing most of the time with her quick wit and sense of humor. She is still getting used to the idea of being there over the last month. She had to give up her apartment and most of her things of course... yet she is so grateful and still very much full of life and thanks God for all of it. Inspirational visit. Glad we went.

Worked until 6:30 in the woods today. Trying to make up for some lost time. Had one beer and got cleaned up and ate a delicious dinner my wife made. Broccoli cheese soup, and a pork fried rice dish. Now I can't move, and am watching the Yankees and the Red Sox game. Time for some relaxing.

All ISO cares about is that you do what you say you will.

It's a good thing I'm not in charge of ISO at our company. :whistle:o_O

Yea, ISO isn't too bad, for us anyways, since we are a small company. But its just making sure that what happens on the production floor is what we say we do. Now that we are going for TS, we are having to change (tweaking our ISO system towards TS). Its been interesting on that spectrum.

I remember shifts like that working for The Boston Globe newspaper back in the day. Only difference was we started between 3-5am depending on the day of the week and we had different starting times all week. No weekend off....ever unless on vacation, getting called in on day off at 3am and yes there were nights out with the buds and then straight to work. I was 21 at the time and couldnt do that these days.

The wife and I took a vacation day today and spent all day at Noah's Ark water park. 84 degrees and sunny.

Sorry, no pics as my phone was in the car.

I wore my watch to know what time it was.

I got asked by a little kid what time it was. Pretty funny since everyone is so attached to their phones, and since you are in swim suits, there's no place to even put a phone and have it handy.

Yes there's waterproof phones, but they are not to the point of dive watches for waterproofness.

Raining today. It hasn't rained since early July.

Started work early today. Hoping to get done early and drive over to Indy this evening and pick up a new toyl from a CL add. I hope it's still available.
