Welcome to the forum steve gordon .....we're a friendly bunch here, except for the occasional grouchy old bear.
He is a friendly bear, so long as you don't steal his beer or pellets, stay out of his garden, and read the manual that came with your stove.
Getting my ducks in a row for the coming season. Stuffing the bagging plant with product and have started shipping to a lot to our larger clients that have to get lots of product in before the rush starts, which it is about to....some it already has... Also got away for a very quick trip to WA St. (Hood Canal) for a family reunion then on to see some great friends. Weather was perfect and a great time was had by all.....now back to the start of the craziness of the pellet season in the North East....
Thanks for the hospitality and look forward to diving right in to the upcoming North East and Mid Atlantic pellet season.
After last winter, there are a LOT of pellet burners hoping that the snow piles are so small that no diving-in will be possible........bare ground might cause a boo-boo. <fingers crossed>
Hey, That's a bad bad word! Had too much of dat stuff. Some say there still piles of it up state(NY).
You heard it here 1st.....this winter will be as bad as last winter in the North East.....better stock up...!!!
I hope one of those polar vortex's makes it clear to some of those southern states. We really should share them with everyone. Just sayin!!
I hope he's brought in enough for all this panic he's trying to create!! If I can't find pellets in February, I'm blaming him and LW!!
Douglas Middleton Interestingly enough, the NOAA has a quite different outlook for this winter than you do.......interesting: "El Niño's clearest impact on northern hemisphere weather patterns occurs from late fall through winter. Looking at past moderate-strong El Ninos, here are the upshots for temperatures and precipitation from late fall through winter in the U.S. There's also an increasing chance El Niño may become strong, perhaps the strongest since the 1997-1998 episode and, thus, may play a stronger role in your weather" - Wetter: Southern U.S. from California to the Carolinas then up parts of the East Coast - Drier: Parts of the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes, Northwest and Northern Rockies - Cooler: Desert Southwest, Southern Plains, northern Gulf Coast - Warmer: Northern tier of states from the Pacific Northwest to the Northern Plains, Great Lakes, and Northeast
No worries, I have plenty of packaged pellets in our 300,000 sq. ft warehouse now and first quarter 2016. This holds true for our Soft Wood and new Blend rolled out this year.
So who is the distributor in our area ?? Shipping costs from VA to PA are going to be a whole lot less than softwoods from the west coast , soo they will come in at a very nice price Right ??
