Hot and humid here today. Grammy is still in Portland taking care of the little ones. She's gonna need a tall glass of wine when she gets home tomorrow... and some sleep. I may head down to see what kind of trouble I can get into...

they can but most often dont, they just work always going somewhere up here they turn down trees and bark into dirt very efficiently! I usually have them around wife's deck where we store wood in winter, how it became her deck I don't know.... Saw some on back porch and started looking .... once I saw I kept going...

So, we are on day three of washing walls and painting. Kitchen and dining room are done - at least I thought so until I looked up at the trim around the light above the kitchen sink. The one last piece got missed. Entryway is washed down, now it is time for taping and prep work. Probably paint that tomorrow morning. Living room is going to have to wait until next week. It is a big room and has lots of things to move out of the way.

Oh, we went with the original colour light gold. I have been using that colour since 1978. There is no colour number anymore for it so I just keep the can that has the formula written on the top. I think over the years that the mix has gotten a little lighter but it looks good anyway.

If you were closer, I would be there in a heartbeat and help paint. I like to paint. I think I have mentioned it before.
