I couldnt resist......What with all the overtime I've been getting the past couple months, this is the ''vacation'' I wont be taking this year.

It should arrive in about 10-12 days max. :dex:

A trip to Nor Cal/Southern Oregon is in the planning stage for next year sometime before Fall however......

Though I'm very patiently waiting & watching for a Homie 750 (Top one on my wish list of the 3-4 large vintage Homie's I want for my collection),this early 70's 6 cubic inch/100cc gear drive beast was # 2 on my list.

Missed out on a very nice 750 a couple weeks back, they are a bit newer but harder to find than most other models from the late 60's to the mid 70's because less were sold at the tail end of old-growth cutting in the Pacific Northwest.

    Good seller right there, too.

That's very nice, but its more than I'm willing to go.It looks like the same one the Seller was asking $1400 2-3 months back. The one I missed out on went for $600 shipped.

Yep. His price has been steadily dropping. If the price gets low enough for you, I'd be happy to pick it up... I could ship it out to you, or hold onto to it until you make it out this way.

Just checked the link you put up, thistle... It said, "Sold!" Did you win the bid?

Edit: I'm confused... Was the link for what you wanted, or one you missed...
    Beers do it every time.

Last October I just barely missed out on a three-saw lot in the Cleveland area. One of the saws was a 750. Asking price for the whole lot was $30. I just couldn't get there in time.

WOW thanks. I'll keep watching & if/when it gets down to 6 or 7 hundred & someone else hasn't grabbed it I'll definitely be contacting you.

If it happens I'd send your payment including shipping via PayPal as a gift,so you wouldnt be stuck with those fees....

Don't overlook the 650 Super. A little easier to handle and all the power you need.

It's really not a problem. I've picked up saws for people in the past, and I've had a lot of people (on this forum, and others) do favors for me, as well.

I was all hot for a 750 this time last year but after running a couple, I think I really like my 1050 and it's gear-drive cousins better! 750's are hard to find in such nice shape because of how "fragile" the rear handles were. I'd still like to have one, just not a priority.

thistle, Let me know if that 1130G ever needs a new home. ;)

I have a feeling it'll be like my 125C - I'll sell a kidney first before either one of them....

Where in NorCal are you going to be..................and when will ya be there? LMK when you're going to be coming out. May be able to meet you to talk saws and buy ya a beer. If you time things right (JUNE), then you may well be able to go to the PNW GTG in Springfield, Oregon. Then you'll be able to meet Torinocobra in person.

Nice score there. I have a Super XP1130 that I'll be rebuilding sometime (it's waiting in line). Still gathering parts. It got a bit busted up sometime before I got it. Still gathering parts (and have a parts donor now). Got a 750 coming soon to. Not quite as nice as those eBay and CL saws, but it isn't costing me what those would.....

Yep. Torinocobra is a good man and I'm proud to be able to say he's my friend. Have had the pleasure of working on saws with him at the PNW GTG. He knows his stuff for sure.

That's Torinocobra on the left. Bob (Farley9N.........the host of the GTG) on the right. Sheldon and I were heckling Bob and working on a couple of his SD143's for him (so he didn't mind the heckling so much). 2014.

Here's Torinocobra running my Craftsman 5.2/Poulan 5200 while RandyMac looks on. 2014.

Here Torinocobra watches (PBR in hand) while RandyMac runs the PM-850 I built for Gologit Bob. 2014.

Here he's running his Homelite 750 at the 2013 PNW GTG.

Here's Gologit Bob with that PM850. I'd swapped on a better AF cover and clutch cover after the PNW GTG and before giving it to Bob at the NorCal GTG in November of 2014.
