got the woodshed ready for a reload today. Notice my helper decided to dig a layin hole right in the way. It started to rain, will be filling it back up another day. Built a pole trimming rig also. I've got a lot of 3-5 ft poles leftover from the woodshed build.
Love the look of that shed, DaveGunter! Looks even better almost fully packed! Is that all for '15-'16?
Nope, shed holds about three years worth, ~20 cords. Will be filling in that space with some stuff I split last summer.
The way you posted the pics it looks like you're taking wood out of the shed. I like that idea of building a shed with wood, did you cut spruce for that?
Nice lookin shed! I really like that you used eveything you could from the area you're in. Well done!
I did move a wheelbarrow load or two to the basement. Yes, the shed poles are spruce I cut, vertical poles are not in the ground, they would rot pretty quick.
What did you use for fasteners at all of the joints? The diagonals/horizontals/rafters... etc. Screws maybe? I really like the use of poles for the frame...
