String Trimmer OCD?

    Be sure its not a lean seize in the making... any signs of an air leak? I forced myself to learn 2-stroke repair and maintenance after killing my p.o.s. string trimmer with the same symptoms (lean seize.)

    It was new only last year. No signs of an air leak.

    Been there done that with a few 2 strokes over the years. Those mistakes taught me over the years too.

    There is usually no adjustment of the choke. If it runs better on half-choke, it's usually a restriction in the fuel delivery. Check fuel filter, line, tank vent, carburetor internals, in that order. ;)
