Apple, blueberry, mixed berry (blue, raspberry, strawberry) and cherry crumb and crust tops. I didn't get any back so they must have sold out.
Tried a new recipe - not peanut buttah pie but instead it was strawberry sauce cake. Strawberry sauce on the bottom and orange zest cottage pudding on top. so far rave reviews.
That looks very good. This reminded me that my rhubarb is ready to use. I'll think of something besides regular crisp. What is in cottage pudding?
I'll gladly take the rest of that off your hands for taste testing, although I don't doubt the outcome.

Canadian Living recipe for this topping The topping is: 1 c flour 1/2 c brown sugar 1 tbsp orange zest - I just grated the peel of a orange 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 c milk 2 eggs 1/3 c butter, melted and cooled 1 tsp cider vinegar 1 tsp vanilla Mix all the dry ingredients together, mix all the wet ingredients together then stir into dry until just combined. Pour over berries or rhubarb. Bake 375 for about 35 min until cake appears dry and no longer jiggles. I used a toothpick in the center for testing. This is the topping I used for my rhubarb, strawberry and huckleberry dessert I made a couple of weeks ago. It was really good with the rhubarb. Years ago I used to make Radio Pudding which was very similar except you made a sauce of raisins, brown sugar, water and flour for the sauce. It was called Radio pudding as it took 1/2 hour to cook and you could listen to your fav radio program which was usually 1/2 hr. long.
Bet you already have dug into it! you have a wife and kids so stuff like that doesn't last but a few moments. Good while you have it. Did you pick the blue berries?
Looks good. the only wild blueberry we have around here are the blue huckleberry and you have to go up the hills for them.
Looks good Dave. My honey noticed the high bush blueberries here should be OK to start picking next week. That's a shame... a reeeeeeel shame...
