    really funny. Something I don't miss is a big wet dog getting out of the water and shaking. We had a dog that looked like a Gordon Setter who LOVED the water. towards the end we had her semi-trained to shake at the water's edge and not on us. We had a German shepherd that we taught how to swim and she would launch herself from a dock the way the chesapeake dog did in the video. Our three present dogs will not go in the water past their knees. Definitely no swimming.

    Well, Maple already loves the water, but not having all of her immunizations yet from waterborne pathogens, we'll keep the creeks ands lakes to a minimum for another 2 weeks. Soooo, just picked up a 6'x15" pool. She's curious, will she go in later, we'll find out......

    She wants in.....I'd put her in there and let her play.
    That was cute.
    When we still had a couple of the pups from the last litter, we put out one of those under bed containers filled with water.
    The pups didn't want to get out.

    I've never seen the inside of one of those round bailers. If you get a chance, could you snap a pic of the guts of that thing when you have it open? Prolly just full of hay elves workin' overtime... :dex:

    Found out that our dogs do not care about dew point, humidity or heat index when it comes time for their routine nightly walk.

    Here is Flicka flashing those dark eyes at me in her attempt to convince me to abandon my restful position on the bed.
