A whole mess of maple...

    Just noticed this - there's another tree recently added to this snag. The one in the middle has been snapped off for a while, and it's pinning the one behind it into a spring pole. I have no idea what's even holding it up anymore - it's pretty rotten. Looks like ants finished off the stump, and now the tree in the foreground broke off and got snagged too. That one looks like a really nice log - I'll have to rescue that one somehow.

    The first big tree that I cut down did that, lucky for me I had good helper that talked through it. It's what it is. FUN!:startled:

    When I was a kid I watched a guy cud a tree down with C4, man that was cool. That would be a safe way to drop those. :D

    Looks VERY dangerous to me. I'd have to have some seriously talented help or I think every tree in the path would domino down to the ground before I would attempt to do anything with it. I suppose it's a good thing I know my limitations! Be careful with that Shawn Curry!
