Turned on the garage heat last night. Going to bring the old mower in and put the plow, chains, and weights on.

Hope it lasts the season. It blows so much by the rings and builds crankcase pressure. That blows out the pcv into the air cleaner. So much oil in it that I have to leave the air cleaner off or it's way too rich from the blow by. Doesn't charge the battery either, but it holds plenty to do the drive way . It's an extra, it is a $200 pos that mowed one season and plowed one. No hard feelings if it bites the dust.

One morning I walked up a beam to un jam the conveyor ( and of course had my coffee! ) I climbed in the conveyor which I completely forgot to lock out and it started up. The damm thing went straight for the scrap chute with the augurs. Well I had made a habit of hooking my harness buckle to my pants loop after I was in the conveyor but lucky for me I forgot and it was laying loose. When the conveyor started up it caught on the side support of the conveyor unit and I went FLOP THUMP THUMP BANG FLOP! Needless to say when it stopped I scrambled on to the beam scurried down shaking. All my thumping around un jammed the line too.  The boss said what happened Pete we heard yelling to which I said I gotta go change my pants and took off for the bathroom. O to be young and immortal again.....

It's a dangerous job for sure. I do know my limits. Never fallen yet, knock on wood. I bet I've spent 10000 hours on the roof in the last 20 years. I do not want to find out if I bounce when I hit the ground.

If it is alcohol related, I don't feel sorry for you. If it is the flu, you have my sympathies!!!!

We've got a nasty cold bordering on the flu going around our household this weekend. I thought I had it beat two weeks ago but I've been coughing and sneezing and sputtering again for several days now and my wife stayed in bed today. Yuck. Hack. Cough. Gurgle.

Well looks like we got 6-8 inches. Tough to tell, wind blew it around, so someplaces you shovel through 10 inches and some places you shovel through 4 or 5.

So I've been cleaning up most of the day. Still can't get the dishwasher to work. Stopped when it got real cold on Friday do I thought the line froze. But I have heated that whole line up and the underside of dishwasher with it taken out from under cabinet.

Then while using the Bobcat to plow as I finished everything around the house and was getting ready to do the road back to camp I realized I had a flat tire on it.!

One of those days. So I said, "That's it, we are going back to camp to relax!" And we packed up the kids and took the Tundra for a little four wheel drive fun through a snow bank at the mouth of the road and then through 6-8" back the road. Now time to relax a bit. Kids are having fun in the snow. Good place for them right now. Fresh air for them, peace and quiet for us.:D

It's never alcohol related with me, it was a migraine. I think it's gone for the most part.

And now I have it! In the background right now with about 4000 milligrams of Excedrin Migraine keeping it at bay.

Dittos. Just popped the same thing. Headed out the door for The Hobbit II with the youth group from church. For once I wish the Dolby system was not going to work.

Sorry Pete, didn't know you could catch it that way. Mine is still there but in the background, as you say. I
could take your hearing protection. I find that very helpful around youth groups anyway.

I have eye migraines more than sound. When they hit they hit hard so I pump meds before they hit completely! Last year I had one so bad it lasted a week and I finally passed out and wound up in the ER. Since then Brian suggested magnesium and man it works miracles for my head. This is the first one in months! They used to be a daily thing heck the doctor said I was so used to them that most people would be passed out from the migraines is I was getting. Thanks again Brian that works well normally .

Thanks Jack, it's getting better as long as I keep sitting on my rump. Just watching some King of the hill and only getting up to feed fire, get drink, and use bathroom. Trying to time them all to be the same trip.

Ouch! migraines are not fun. I used to get sinus headaches until I had my sinuses drilled out. Nothing worked on them except a dark room, hot packs, throwing up and sleep for a couple of days. Felt like I had dwarfs drumming around my eyes with a knife through my right eye. then when it was gone, I felt like a dishrag. Hope your recovery from this one is quick.

Thanks, I already feel a ton better but it just won't quite go completely away. In an hour or two I am going to throw a couple burgers in the oven ( that's how bad I feel, won't be cooking on the King) and then a warm bath after that. Might be about time for more ibuprofen then too.
