I hope that is head towards us! The humidity has been too high to be comfortable even though it wasn't that hot. I understand that tomorrow might be bad.

Wow, suddenly dark, them boom! The house shakes for a moment. Raining so hard it is difficult to see much. Pulled up the radar. Looks like a bunch of these storms forming up, then breaking up. Seems the heavy ocean fog is sucking the energy right out of them when they reach the coast.

stove spot 19 July.jpg yes, we are still upstairs. I made my way down to see what work was done today. One of the windows was open and the rain came in. Just made the tile floor wet, no puddles.
Brian has worked on the stove area today. Still has the grout, trim on the floor and the trim on the shelf at the knee wall. but you can get an idea of what is being done.

Looking good Larry. Can't wait to see a pic with the P-68 sitting there with a fire burning. Is that a direct vent?

Can't wait! The humidity over the last few days has been awful. Supposed to let up for the next few days, with the lower temps.

Very humid here also. Temp no so bad but the humidity is horrid. I have breathing issues and this bad air doesn't help. Went through three shirts so far today, and a shower at noon! Afternoon is a bit better now.
More progress being made on the makeover downstairs. bought some doors today. Even with the 6 panel cheap hollow core doors, I spent over $800. Only big bill left on the horizon is the bathroom ceiling. Have another plumber visit and a couple visits from the electrician. Will be interesting to have the water, gas, and electricity all running in there. Gray water is separated into a tank filled with crushed stone. then an overflow out So much better than what it was. I have paid more for this make over of the lower level than I paid to build the house back in 1975 with land and well.

Lots of interesting numbers there. Medium income and national debt stood out, but not as much as that inflation rate. Cost of a house loan was ridiculous. Thanks for sharing.
