    Badger can actually get into the boat when it's at the depth shown in the pics from yesterday. The swim platform of a competition ski boat is at water level for getting skis, board, whatever, including yourself on easily. If it had a step down, then nearly any dog could get in and out.

    I may make some sort of step that can be placed on for even easier access for the dog(s).

    I have an 18' Smokercraft bass boat. Even when she's full grown, I think she'll have trouble getting on. I've looked into home made doggy ladders. They consist of a carpeted foldable platform with floating bumpers.
