About an hour later, my wife decided we'd get better results if I'd close the sliding glass door. Hum, some days go that way.

btw, this is the second time this year for turning the air on but the other time was just for a few hours. Looks like this time it may be a few days. I think last year was 4 or 5 days for the air to be on. I hope it is less this year.

Too sticky for me, I couldn't take it anymore, turned on the air a couple of hours ago for the first time this year.
My furnace doesn't work for heat anymore that's what the wood stove is for, but the central air works just fine :dennis::banana:
I think it's time for some of that banana cream pie in the fridge:)

I wish I could say that is all we had the air on. But my wife has allergies, and my son as well. Although my son has been going through treatments for several years now and has seen much improvement. I can not convince my wife she should do it as well. So, we need to run the air fairly often because if I open the windows and turn fans on it can cause here problems. Oh well. I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT NICE WARM WEATHER!

    X3!

I like it when the bedroom is about 67-70. So the AC is on a good number of days in the summer. It has been in the 80's for a good number of days in the last few weeks.

It was over 100 today. Electricity went out for about 1.5 hours mid-day. Ugh! Thankfully, the house stayed a cool for the power outage.

We keep the AC on all summer, even when it's milder. I like the benefit of dryer air that the AC gives, though it would be great if if I could get the wife to stop using the ceiling fans so much. I can't get her to understand that the fans make the AC work harder to keep the house cool and that the hvac system circulates the air just fine on it's own.
