    Seems my good riding buddy needs a little help. He had a few trees cut down that were hanging a little to close to his house.

    Called me up and asked if I wanted to help cut and split with him and share in the booty. :D Does a bear chit in the forest?!

    Great score! But make sure ya get those vines off! I see quite a bit of Poison Ivy. Those furry vines keep me far farrrrrr away.

    Wow awesome score Steve! I've never tried to split locust how well does it split? I have a Task Force 5 ton electric and it not exactly a powerhouse..

    Yep, but the straight stuff splits pretty easy. It kinda peels apart when fresh cut as opposed to snapping.

    Most of the red oak I've split is easy to split and generally straight grained.. Crotches are another story though..
