We've had 2-3 consecutive summers of below "normal" temps down heah;)
It was time for us to have real summer temps - good thing my vacation starts Saturday, heat indices 108+

Pained me to drive by an oak that the town cut down on the side of the road - maybe early Saturday Morning the 441 might wake a few people up though:headbang:

    American Express "priceless commercial":

Old baby security blanket, 1/2 bleached from falling on a space heater, now torn from so many washings and too much cuddling. Rubberband to secure it around lil ones neck like a cape: Priceless!!

Thanks, it is nice around here. I may change my opinion in Feb., but that's just me.
Had 5 bulls in that meadow just a few weeks ago. Of course I didn't have a camera. The meadow is just down from my house.

Our well at work is 40 ft. it puts out 60 gal. a minute and runs about 60 percent of the time 24/7!
It has been doing that over 15 years without doing anything to it. We run it with no pressure tank it just fills a 800 gallon tank with a float switch to turn it on and off.
Everybody said it wouldn't work !!

Car accident took out a power pole so I'm on the generator at the moment. Fridge, fan,big led light, stereo,tv all hooked up. Cable and Internet is on battery backup which i can charge again off the Gen if need be. I love being prepared. Made a bourbon and coke to celebrate being ready.

Let the chickens out for a bit this evening to run and get some bugs. While I mowed grass. Finishing up the beer before bed. Tomorrow is Friday....... Almost another week in the books...

Dug about 200 lbs of taters today. They were getting soggy and rodents knawing on them so I decided to just take them all out. Just finished freezing about 8 gallons of green beans.

Leg is all swelled up from the hornet and I can barely walk now.

    I'll call today a tie.
