Weather was a bit iffy today, But we winged it and hit the lake for a while. Couple a decent fish and the boat ran like a champ!

The weather has held off, so the men put up the shed roof attached to the garage.
It is 10x24. I think he over built it. He doesn't want so bD arse winter taking it down. It has a southern exposure.

the peace of mind there is that if it does collapse, you know it wasn't the construction....although a small birdsmouth would have been better for the rafters than using only hurricane ties (tying it to the beam)....sorry, just had to say it! :D Love the garage!

He has suggested putting some pellets there, He wants some on the inside area for his workbench. He has already decided to hold onto the furnace and the metalbestos chimney we took out of the house. Furnace was in perfect condition when it was taken out. I kept it well maintained and it didn't get a lot of use.
But yes, most of space will be used to store things undercover that don't need to be in the garage. I'm already looking into to some alarm and security equipment. Theft hasn't been an issue here, but I have kept a low profile. Even though we are the only ones in here on the end of this dead end road, I still have vehicals come in here late at night and in the wee hours of the morning. Dogs usually start barking when that happens

Save you don't want to keep a low profile but a large profile. You gotta be seen patroling your boundaries carrying a shot gun and a couple of pistols!:)
