Here's a pic of the Powerhorse Dualsplitter - went halves with my coworker after he put in a stove, kind of guy that takes care of equipment.
It's only stalled once in a Pecan crotch - but after noticing I was actually aerating the pump ~3/4 way into stroke, topped off the reservoir and it sheared it's way through.
It's finicky about being level(thus the aeration) small hydro tank and will puke oil if out a couple inches. Took about a year before we figured that it moved/loaded a lot easier with the beam extended(does wonders for the CG) And the Powerhorse motor starts up nearly first pull everytime. You really need two people to make it high production but I can buck/split and fill my truck in ~2hrs, then crank them off with the bedroller as I stack;) - no bending over IMG_0406.JPG

You have any footage of that in action Basod? I have been curious about those splitters for a while now. It looks like it would take longer die to the wedge having to travel all the way through however my buddy loves his two way splitter. ( more out of curiosity than anything )

I have a small 12 ton lumber jack that splits pine just fine and even some of the harder woods when I can scrounge them. I bought it last year on a spring clearance sale for 300.00

Originally the one I bought was used and returned for the 300.00 I brought it home and it didn't work so I took it back and they gave me a new one in the box as a replacement.

I was gonna say you'd be hard pressed to build one for $300 - I guess it was set up with for the people who can't let go of their milk crates?
I'd be splitting on my knees from looks of the height on that TimberJack - but it gets the job done:thumbs:

I mount it on one of those cargo carriers that you slide into a receiver hitch and split logs as I unload the truck
