Coffee now, and finally getting to pour a decent sized concrete patio for a customer that has been waiting a month because of the rain! She's getting impatient, and I need the $.

No rest for the wicked, so after that, I'm going to clean up a bank repo yard that hasnt been mowed all year.

Great performance last night by the RI Philharmonic. I'll post a picture later when my phone is charged.

This morning, I'm needing some coffee. Heads hurting a little from the alcohol last night. Then it's onward and upward to working on the third floor bedroom renovation. Final sanding before painting.

Once I'm done sanding, I'll turn my attention to the rabbit hutch. Need two pieces of plywood and some wire. Then I can complete it.

Making applesauce today. I'm so sick of apples. Got to let this coffee soak in first.

Sitting eating my home made ham cheese egg muffin sandmich on the front porch. Got up early to get ready for the day.....then a small rainstorm set in, so here I wait.

Banana bread, mowing processing site, taking load of branches to tree dump, pick up that apple wood, do some office work, maybe limb another elm so I can take it down....oh man, I'm tired already.....maybe I should go back to bed :)

On the topic of landlines, we have one and always will. When I was younger, I had to call EMS for an emergency at home. As soon as I called, EMS knew exactly our address and sent help. With young ones, they can dial and get help rolling if something bad happens. No searching for a cell phone, passcodes, charging issues. No brainer for me, safety net imo.

We are busy here, I am lurking just a little, as I have some good things in the works requiring all my spare time. The summer has been great here. Unfortunately, my grapes are rotting on the vine from too much rain. I may prune them back to get air around them and keep them dry around the clusters.

Gasifier, barbecue chicken pizza on the menu tonight.

Getting ready for fun on the lake today. I mowed the lawn on Thursday night, so I don't have to think about that for a couple of days. I hate wasting precious weekend time on mowing the lawn.

Had to make an emergency run to Pallet Pete 's town, thought about looking him up then got a couple of phone calls and had to shoot back and head to Grand Rapids. Ended up taking the wifes car and stopped at Belle Tire and got her 4 new tires, alignment and a oil change! Setting at home giving my wallet a rest!:D

As usual I started with a plan of the day. They went sideways when I took time to unclog the shower drain. Out with the auger, and about 40 minutes later and some really nasty crap from the drain I'm done. Took dad's truck to grab the plywood at a local place in town called Arnold's Lumber. If I waited until tomorrow, I would have to drive 30 minutes north to Home Depot to get it.

Sanding is done of the joints is done. Now I just need to run the orbital sander over the tongue and grove pine my dad put up on the wall. My youngest daughter was going to move into that room, and I painted the wall purple for her. Now that it's my son, purple is not going to cut it. Not a very big wall, and should fairly quick. That will allow the wife to pain tomorrow while I am outside working on the rabbit hutch.

Didn't have time to take many pics. Ran 3/4 yard short on crete and had to plus back another truck. Took way too long for the 2nd driver to arrive.
Cold joints suck to finish. Even with a broom.
For those wondering, this was a do it as cheap as possible job...that's why there's no picture framing etc. It'll get saw cut tomorrow. ..most likely in the flipping rain. All those broom lines will dissappear and it'll look good for the price the customer paid. 26x12 were the dimensions. Me and 1 other guy.

My favorite cousin will be here this morning for a short visit. When I was a little kid, every time I knew she was coming I'd get all excited. I think everyone in the family feels the same way about her. We're a little older now... (how does that happen) ... but that familiar anticipation is still there. Can't wait to see her.

Caffeine going down. Almost time to go out and split some more wood. Give the neighbors a chance to sleep a little later this morning though.
