Ran to town for errands, grabbed a surface cleaner for my pressure washer here at the house and knocked out the front patio in ~10mins without getting crap all over myself
Stopped for a new starter at the Honda stealership - not in stock, they'd order it for $130 - yeah buddy they are $53 on Amazono_O. Changed the oil since the garage bay is opened up anyways
Hanger hooks for my new kayak at duck's - too hot to do anything past 12, sweating in the shade.

    It's beer thirty:drunk:

Worked. Cooked dinner. Canned some beets. Got a turkey ready for the smoker tomorrow. Booked a fall vacation on the Gulf. Drinking some rum and winding down before bed.

My head hasn't seen scissors in about 17 years. That's about how long its been since I paid for a haircut too.

I bought this for my husband. He uses it for stubble too long for electric razor when he doesnt have time to use a blade. He really likes it, and it makes his neckline hair easier for me to buzz off.

Not enough hair to "flow", unless I let it grow out.

    Hey.... wait a minute... that's T1-11 and batten :p Am I right?

Here's my very economical solution a former co-worked gave to me : unistrut & then trolley wheels from McMaster-Carr. Worked for me holding some 100lb + doors and very cheap compared to anything else. Even cheaper than heavy duty hinges.

Let's see if I have a pic.... You can see it in black (the unistrut.) I'd have to poke around MMC for a while to find the trolleys but they work great.

The gnats are un-fing-believable here this year with all the rain. You can barely stand to be outside. When you walk back inside they fly out of your hair. Grrrrr.

Going to try to start on the June apples this evening...put some pie fillings in the freezer...then make some applesauce this weekend.

lukem for gnats, try a spray called buggins. Doesn't work worth a crap on skeeters etc....but it does work on gnats.

More rain again today. This is stupid. When the week is done, we will have 6 plus inches for the week! Other than tomorrow, there's rain chances every day for the next 7 days.

Got up this morning, grabbed a coffee and sat out on the deck with Gizzy. Another beautiful start of the day. Feeling a whole lot of gratitude these days... thanks Scotty Overkill, and all of the mods, for getting this forum up and running. Have found new, soon to be old friends here that I couldn't/wouldn't have met otherwise. Some threads have been so funny I can't even breathe. Others, very moving with members opening up about all sorts of things that always brings thoughtful and meaningful responses.
A most amazing place... and for that, I'm grateful. :campfire:

Well said Stinny. But we're you just referring to me as old!? If you were close enough I'd hit you with my walker! :)

Gotta' take the grandbabies back downstate this afternoon. Luckily, I only have to drive to the Midland area.
Might stop at Menards on the way back for a lookie-loo. I'll make a stop at the Cracker Barrel too.....my wife LOVES their sourdough bread. Need to stock up.

Went fishing with my neighbor yesterday, had ~8 nice size bass bite but swim directly at the boat and spit the hook as they surfaced - goose egg. Fortunately had some catfish fillets in the freezer:D
did up a fish fry, with potato wedges, hush puppies, coleslaw, onions and dill pickles.
