Beautiful morning down in the woods. 60 degrees. I'd left the few pieces I'd bucked up a while back and it was driving me nuts. Whenever I felt gooder to go lately, I've used that little bit of steam to mow, weed whack and... mow... like everybody else. This morning, I was up at 4:30 and while drinking my coffee, I realized I oughta actually go and get that little bit of wood outa there... it wasn't gonna get any cooler the next days ahead.

My honey thought I'd lost my mind of course. I'm usually on FHC til 9... Grabbed my hookeroon and even got my pants on, and out the door. 4 boxes full of wet :emb: slimy:emb: mold covered :emb: moss covered:emb: ash tops left from spring 2014 :emb: ... I'm a procrastinator... there, I said it... :picard:... (I'll be gettin' right on splitting those big ones too) So, here's the required photo proof of actually touching firewood. My honey whipped up blueberry muffins too... :dancer:

    Oh no, you did-ent.
Musta' been serious if you put pants on.
I think I have 6 Oak rounds left from my last woods excursion that are still just sitting on the ground. They hafta' be the most patient Oak I've seen in a while.
Mmmmm, blueberry muffins. Did you put butter on those?

"blueberry muffins.Did you put butter on those?" ... can't remember... I inhaled em too fast...

Hope your oak rounds aren't too big if you have to lift em. I was very happy I was lifting ash this morning, and they weren't even bigguns.
